Diving the Belize Barrier Reef

Diving on the Barrier Reef is an experience every “Diver in Belize” should try. The barrier reef is located just 3 minutes East of our dive shop. It is home to spur and groove coral formations and numerous impressive dive sites where you will encounter swim through tunnels, caverns  and diverse marine life.

The type of creatures encountered in these dives include nurse sharks, black tip sharks, green turtles, loggerhead turtles, spotted eagle rays, groupers, green moray eels, tarpons, lion fish, trumpet fish, angel fish, trunk fish, butterfly fish, parrot fish, snappers just to name a few. When it comes to corals you will encounter mountainous corals that are home to various types of corals like sea rods, sea whips, sea fans, brain corals, elk horns, golf ball coral, leaf corals, lettuce coral, tube sponge, barrel sponge just to name a few.
